The first Delegates meeting of 2025 will be at Pike Hills Golf Club on 17 March with Coffee available from 10 am for 10 30 am start

"Golf Day for Delegates" over nine holes on the 20th March 2025 at Sandburn Hall Golf Club

YLCGA is aware that enrolling and retaining ladies and girls into golf is an issue for a lot of clubs and the idea of holding events like these is a chance for everyone to get together – have some fun and share ideas.

This invitation is open to Club Delegates/Ladies Secretaries/Lady Captains/Lady Vice Captains/Committee members at your club. (Limit of 2 ladies from each club).

The format will be a 9-hole AM AM Stableford team event the first tee has been booked for 11:00am.

This will be followed by tea/coffee, a toasted teacake and an informal chat with the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with your fellow YLCGA delegates and a few members of the YLCGA team.

Sandburn Hall GC has generously offered a free green fee for the 9 holes so the cost is only £7 pp (£14 per pair) which includes refreshments, prizes.

When we have confirmed numbers, we will do a draw and send out a timesheet.

Dates for your Dairy

"Plans are shaping up for our April Golf Day where all delegates in our region will have the opportunity to meet up, exchange ideas on current ladies' golf issues and also play a fun golf competition at a really interesting golf course.
Hickleton Golf Club have kindly agreed a price of £34 to include 18 holes of golf (AmAm), coffee with bacon bap/teacake on arrival and tea and cake after the game when we all meet up for a good discussion.
