All players arrived at Bedale in the pouring rain. With only half an hour before first tee time it was decided by the Bedale staff that the course was playable and would remain open.
All players rallied themselves, donned water proofs and went out to do a quick but very wet warm up. Players from both teams played incredibly well considering the horrible weather. The golf was a pleasure to watch and there were some very close matches with Yorkshire triumphing in the end.
Pleased to say the the last few holes were played in the dry.

Our Junior team took on the Yorkshire boys at Ganton GC on Thursday 28 March
This was a very close match which began on a sunny and breezy day but ended in wet, windy and cold conditions. Some excellent golf played by all the players on both sides with all players battling well through the difficult conditions toward the latter part of the day. A match that could have gone either way but unfortunately, on this occasion, not our way
