Junior Girls Championships 2020

The Yorkshire Junior Girls Championship is open to all members of the YLCGA who have not reached their 18th birthday by 1St January of the year of the Championship and with handicaps of 18 or under who qualify in accordance with England Golf Regulations and who were affiliated to YLCGA in the England Golf subscription year.It is a 36 hole Strokeplay competition best gross score to determine the Champion. There will be a Trophy for the best Net score and entry into England Golf Champion of Champions competition.

Shipley 5th April, Headingley 5th July, Driffield 6th September, Woodsome Hall 4th October.

"Race to Woodsome Hall" ( Order of Merit)

This Stableford competition takes place over the year at the following venues. There are two divisions, Division 1 up to and 18 handicap and Division 2 from 19 to 36 where a player will accrue points for the division in which she began the season regardless of handicap reduction. There is also a 9 hole competition which can be played from the red tees for active handicaps of 37 to 54 and a shortened course (blue tees) for non handicap or 46+ handicap. Please note you cannot choose the shortened course once you have moved to the red tees.

The Yorkshire Junior Autumn Meeting is open to all members of the YLCGA who have not reached their 18th birthday by 1st January of the year of the Competition and with handicaps of 36 or under who qualify in accordance with England Gold Regulations (Link) and who were affiliated to YLCGA in the England Golf subscription year . There is a subsidiary competition for girls with a handicap of 37 and above.
The Shirley Guest Trophy is awarded to the Best overall stableford result over the two Divisions
